Riley played college baseball at Middle Georgia Junior College and Georgia Southwestern State University. From there he went on to play independent professional baseball with the Americus Arrows in 2002. He continues to focus on his training and can bench press over 450 pounds and has squatted over 700 pounds.

Riley is a dynamic communicator and has a passion for the ministry. He is originally from Americus, GA, but currently resides in Dallas, TX with his three kids (Dillon, Chandler, and Faith) and wife (Susanne).
