Can Faith Force Impact Our Schools?

The answer is simply, "Yes we can!" Faith Force is dedicated to reaching America's youth with a timely message of inspiration and motivation. Faith Force strives to meet students where they are and encourage them to be the best they can be.

One of the reasons Faith Force is so successful in helping students is because they understand the problems that young people face today. All of Faith Force's athletes have a real heart for young people, and spend time working with them one-on-one also.

By using feats of strength, along with student participation, humor, and a highly motivational message, Faith Force is able to capture the attention of students and inspire them to new levels of achievement. Because Faith Force's team is comprised of world-class athletes from such a variety of backgrounds such as martial arts, bodybuilders, power lifters, football players, World's Strongest Man competitors, and even law enforcement officers and firemen, they are able to deal with many important issues young people face. One member is also a professional artist who has designed for the NBA, NFL, MLB, and NASCAR. One of the powerful messages he shares is about overcoming obstacles and having a goal in life. This is followed by him showing a uniform he designed that was worn by NBA athletes in four consecutive NBA All-Star Games.

With a name like Faith Force, is your team going to talk about religion or God?

Answer: "We are not going to try and fool anyone. Every member of Faith Force's team is a Christian athlete, who loves sharing their faith in Jesus Christ. However, this is not the mission or purpose of our school assemblies. Our goal is to motivate and inspire students to be the best they can be, through positive messages and testimonies. There are no religious messages in our assemblies, unless we are requested to do so by the school principal."

Why do you call your team Faith Force?

Answer: "Because faith is one of the most powerful forces in existence. There are many levels to faith, but the first basic level is having faith in oneself. So many young people today lack this faith. They are told by others and society in general that if they don't look or act a certain way they won't be accepted. It's this same lack of faith that leads them to make poor choices, and it's the choices we make that determines whether we are powerful or powerless in life

What do you talk about in your assemblies?

Answer: "It really depends on the age group we are talking to. For example, in our elementary school programs, we focus mainly on bullying, character, academics, and how important it is to set and reach goals. We also talk about the importance of making good choices and choosing your friends wisely.

In junior and senior high schools we talk about these things as well, but we also discuss topics like peer pressure, drug and alcohol abuse, teen suicide, and the importance of high academics. We also like to talk with principals beforehand to see what issues are particularly pressing in their school. Faith Force assemblies will enhance the students' attitudes, aptitudes, and morals…as well as motivate them to higher levels of achievement!

What stands out as the most memorable moment in one or more of your assemblies?

Answer: "It's really hard to say. We've seen so many young lives touched and changed through these school assemblies. The most powerful experiences may be when young people come up to one of our athletes after an assembly and tell them how glad they are we came. Several students have shared a desire or plan to commit suicide, but changed their minds after hearing our message. One of our team members actually has a bullet that a student gave him. She told him she had planned on killing herself that evening after school. The team member who received that bullet still stays in contact with that student, and she's now doing great

How long do your assemblies last?

Answer: "We would like to have at least 45 minutes to one hour per assembly

How much does a school assembly cost?

Answer: If you’re in education, you are probably aware of the high cost of most school assembly programs. Faith Force’s school assembly program is only $750.00. For many schools this is less than $1 per student. In fact, many schools find this very affordable, and have assemblies scheduled in their budgets each year. In case they don't, this is where other groups, local businesses and churches can step in and cover the cost of the assemblies in order to benefit the youth of their community and possibly their own families. However, if budget is a concern and you’re interested in bringing Faith Force in for an assembly, please give us a call. Our heart is to help students and we’ll make it happen!
